C.O.M. - Here's how it works: You find a fabric from our fabric by the yard section, at a local fabric store or online, buy it, and ship it to our workroom to sew your window treatments.

All Fabric will be inspected, photographed and if necessary ironed (labor charges apply) before construction of your treatment.

Each shade comes standard lined with a light filtering fabric in either white or ivory (factory matched to fabric patterns) or upgrade to our dual lining, Interling or Blackout Lining. Custom Roman Shades are mounted on a fabric wrapped headrail made from premium clear pine. Steps To Do Before Ordering Your Custom Window Treatments

Decide how to mount the treatment ie. inside the window frame or outside the window frame.

Production Time: Every Custom Window Treatment is made to order and takes 10 - 12 business days
Delivery Time via UPS: 3-5 Standard Days, unless expedited request.

Additional Customization Options:

Lining Upgrades
-Dual Lining [available in white or ivory] a single layer of fabric of thicker fabric that is a combination between interlining and lining.
-Interlining - an optional third layer of fabric between face fabric and back lining. Used to add weight,fullness, hand-feel, opacity and insulation efficiency.
-Blackout Liners - Specific term denoting a lining that blocks of >99% light.
Continuous Clutch Lift Mechanism - operates with a beaded chain and clutch system for precise control (recommended for larger shades)
Cordless Lift Mechanism - ring on the bottom of the shade allows a spring operated lift
Top Down / Bottom Up Control
Optional Valance Upgrade - choose from 4" - 9" valance
Optional Scalloped Bottom Edge Upgrade (includes valance)

Measuring Suggestions:

Measuring for an Inside Mount - (the shade is mounted inside your window frame)

Measure the width of your window from the inside face of the frame at the top, middle and bottom. Use the shortest of these measurements.

Likewise measure the length of your window from the inside face of the frame on each side and middle and use the longest measurement.

Please note that this extremely important especially for older houses where settling may have occurred and the windows are often not completely square.

Measuring for an Outside Mount - (the shade is mounted above your window frame)

Measure the width of your window (if you would like to cover the frame as well, measure from the outside edge of the frame) at the top, middle and bottom. Use the longest of these measurements.

Likewise measure the length of your window frame (if you would like to cover the entire frame, be sure to measure from the top of the area you would like to cover to the bottom of the trim) on each side and use the longest measurement. We suggest adding a couple of inches to allow for a bit of leeway during installation.
