Sheer Ripplefold Custom Draperies are a contemporary drapery that operate on a special traverse track. Aptly named for the soft, even ripples that flow smoothly from one end of the drapery to the other. Customer's love the ripplefold style as this drapery looks just as good from the outside as it does from the inside and it stacks tighter on the end of the rod providing maximum viewing areas for your windows. Curtains are sewn in the USA.

Fullness - Panels are created using 120% fullness (call for quotes on >120% fullness)

Ripplefold Headings are offered in 4 Fullness Levels (see pic) -120% = Deluxe Fullness for sheers and light weight fabrics -100% = Custom Fullness for lined medium weight fabrics -80% = Economy Fullness for heavy weight fabrics, interlined

Traverse & Carrier Set Up

	Ripplefold Overlap Master carriers have a traditional look and may block the light and give a bit more privacy. This style master carrier may be used with both baton & cord drawn systems Baton draw may use multiple panels going in multiple directions on the same window wall
	Butt masters are popular for their clean look when they are open. It looks like your center carriers are actually returns and they close off the center of the draperies. Ripplefold Butt Master carriers may only be used with cord drawn systems

Drapery panels attach via a snap-tape to the track, creating smooth, evenly spaced curves in the fabric. While ripplefold drapes have many benefits, please be aware that there will be a light gap at the top of the drape where the snap connects to the rod - making it very difficult to acheive blackout lighting with the drapes as a stand alone window treatment.

C.O.M. (Customers Own Material) Program - Here's how it works:

1. Contact our office to determine fabric yardage calculations and workroom shipping information - 1.877.717.1120 or email us at customerservice@bestwindowtreatments.com
2. Select a fabric and have it shipped to our COM workroom,*
        a. Select fabrics from the Fabrics by the Yard section of our website and we have it shipped to our COM workroom. *Some fabrics on our website may not apply, but most are - please inquire!
        b. Find your favorite fabric anywhere (in a local store or online) and have it shipped to our COM workroom.
3. We do all the work and we provide any additional necessary materials (such as framing material, blackout lining, grommets or even decorative trim, beads, gimp and accessories.)
        a. Each custom C.O.M. panel comes standard with lining in either white or ivory (factory matched to fabric patterns) or upgrade to Interlining, Blackout Lining or Self-Lining.

Steps To Order Custom Window Treatments

1. Pick Your Fabric - ORDER FABRIC SWATCHES
2. Call or email customerservice@bestwindowtreatments.com and we will assign a window specialist to provide fabric quantities needed for your order.
3. Decide how to mount the treatment ie. inside the window frame or outside the window frame.
4. Measure the windows (see measuring notes below)

Customization Options

• Privacy or Blackout Liners may be upgraded to increase your privacy while reducing or eliminating light.
• Tie Backs can be added to give your drapery the pulled back, off the window look.
        -Tie-backs are 4” tall, flat, fabric wrapped buckramand that are long enough to pull back the treatment half the width of the drapery panel.
• Decoarative Trim, Gimp, Tassels and Edge Banding may be added to your drapes
• Your choice of fullness may be selected - standard 100% fullness will be used for most drapes unless otherwise instructed

Measuring Suggestions:

Outside Mount - Outside mounted treatments will be made to the exact dimensions provided.
Width: Measure the exact width of the window, including any frame. Add a minimum of 4” to each side (8” total overlap) to ensure light control and privacy.
Height: Measure the height of the window from the top edge of the molding to the bottom edge of the molding, sill or floor. Add a minimum of 4” to allow for an adequate mounting area above the window.

Inside Mount - Provide the exact sizes of the opening. The workroom will make all necessary deductions for a perfect fit.
Measure inside the window casing at the top, middle and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement. No deduction will be taken on width.
Measure inside the window casing at the left, center and right. Record the shortest measurement. B&W’s workroom will take a 3/4” deduction on the height
Note on Returns - The standard return size for draperies is 3-1/2” for most style and 4” for Side Panels.

Care and Maintenance
It is recommended Decorative Traverse Rods, Draperies & Side Panels be vacuumed periodically with a brush or drapery hose attachment. Professional cleaning is recommended for all Custom Drapery Panels. A professional drapery cleaner may be found in the yellow pages or on the internet.
