Straight Valance With End Kerchiefs(V6). Custom fabric is stretch mounted across a fabric wrapped wooden board with coordingating end kerchiefs. Perfect accent accent to any window treatment. As with all custom products - sales are final and may not be returned so be sure to contact a helpful design rep to ensure all of your design specifications are fulfilled.
C.O.M. (Customers Own Material) Program - Here's how it works:
1. Contact our office to determine fabric yardage calculations and workroom shipping information - 1.877.717.1120 or email us at customerservice@bestwindowtreatments.com
2. Select a fabric and have it shipped to our COM workroom,*
a. Select fabrics from the Fabrics by the Yard section of our website and we have it shipped to our COM workroom. *Some fabrics on our website may not apply, but most are - please inquire!
b. Find your favorite fabric anywhere (in a local store or online) and have it shipped to our COM workroom.
3. We do all the work and we provide any additional necessary materials (such as framing material, blackout lining, grommets or even decorative trim, beads, gimp and accessories.)

Measuring for Custom Window Top Treatments

Outside Mount:
Measure from starting point to end point on the wall
(at least 1-2 inches past the window frame,
IF curtain panels will also be installed, see diagram below.)
(Brackets will placed on wall above window.)

Inside Mount
(Measure the exact width of the window opening.)
*Make sure to measure the top of the window, as all windows are not perfectly square.

If you are adding coordinating fabrics or sheers, add additional width for curtain panels (see photo below).

Please note an additional 1-1/4" will extend beyond your window width given, on both sides, as the cornice itself is 1 1/4 inch thick on the sides. While the cornice is very light, it is thick and the additional thickness needs to be accounted for, in your final measurements for small enclosed spaces. For example, if you request a 40 inch cornice - the inside of the cornice will be exactly 40 inches. But, the overall, final width will be 42 1/2 inches - which needs to be calculated in tight, small spaces, such as kitchen windows or other obstructions, such as walls, another window or decor.
Choose between a 3" or 6" return for your window, depending on the depth.
The depth of the return is how far the cornice will project from your wall.

TIPS:
1. Measure every window. Windows may appear to be
identical, but may not be exactly the same.
2. Use a metal tape measure. It will not stretch and distort
your measurements.
3. Double check all of your measurements before placing
your order. (Writing down all measurements on paper is recommended.)
