**PLEASE NOTE: Rods are measured in inches - "To the 1/8 of an inch" is only necessary if you are working in tight spaces.  If you do not have any obstructions or space restrictions, you should order in whole inches.  When measuring for your curtain rod, please allow for room for your curtain stack back, typically several inches past your window trim on each side, depending on the width of your curtains.

Measuring Terms:

Brackets Information (maximum width between brackets is 72")
Each set comes with the following number of brackets based on width.

Order "S" - the standard rod width when placing your order.
Keep in mind "TT"  (tip to tip) width - will be your final width, with finials.
The standard rod width is needed to accomodate your curtain panels.
The tip to tip width is needed to make sure your finials are not running into other objects, such as walls, other windows, doors, artwork, etc.  So, make sure to measure for the tip to tip width, for your own personal reference (we need the rod width only.)

Brackets can be used as a standard size or in extended position as shown below.
Width of the bracket is 7/8 inch wide.(see photos below)








IMPORTANT NOTE: Metal rods have maximum span of 144" without requiring a splice. The splice is achieved with an internal sleeve that fits inside the rod to connect the pieces together. A support bracket is placed under the splice for additional support. Normally, your rod would be spliced in the center or divided equally.  If you need the rod spliced at specific locations please add information to order notes or call us to place your order.
