Measuring Terms:

Order - the width you need to the CURTAINS to cover when placing your order.
Keep in mind the tip-to-tip width - The finial will extend beyond the end of the drapery by 1-3/4” plus the finial width. For Finial dimensions see below.

Please remember to ensure installation space is available to accomodate the tip to tip width to ensure your custom traverse rod is not running into other objects, such as walls, other windows, doors, artwork, etc.  So, make sure to measure for the tip to tip width, for your own personal reference (we need the rod width only.)

Finial Specifications:  (this is the width of each finial - add this to your rod width for your final "tip to tip" width").  For reference only.

Decorative Traverse Rods are not available as ceiling mounts and require 1-7/8” of mounting surface above the window opening.

Over Sized Curtain Rod

Rods over 92 inches are constructed as two pieces with the splice will be at the center of the rod to be concealed by a decorative splice cover.

If you need the rod to be spliced at specific points, please include in order notes or call us to place your order.  Otherwise, the rod will be spliced in the center if over 92 inches.
