Interlining is an extra layer of fabric similar in feel to a light flannel fabric. Interlined curtains provide both added fullness and a measure of thermal insulation to your window treatments. Many drapery fabrics are beautiful but do not produce full, luxurious curtains. Interlining adds to the ‘feel’ of the fabric making a curtain dramatically more thick and sumptuous. While any additional fabric layer will serve to block additional light, Interlined Curtains do not block 100% of sunlight.
