Custom Rod Pocket Curtain Panel - Single Width Curtains are perfect for standard windows. Each Rod Pocket panel is sewn with one width of fabric. (Typical fabric width is 50-55 inches and has a finished width of 25-30 inches coverage.) Rod Pocket draperies are clean, simple panels that shir onto drapery hardware and can be crafted to fit any rod size. They may be ordered with or without additional header above the pocket. Because rod pocket style drapes shir tightly onto the rod this header style they are most recommended for stationary panels. Two panels work well for window opening between 20-40 inches.

C.O.M. (Customers Own Material) Program - Here's how it works:

1. Contact us to determine fabric yardage calculations and workroom shipping information. Please call 1.877.717.1120 or email us at customerservice@bestwindowtreatments.com
2. Select a fabric and have it shipped to our COM workroom. If the fabric is from our online store, we arrange all shipment of fabric to the workroom. Here are several ways to select your fabric:
        a. Select fabric from the Fabric by the Yard section of our online store (we will ship the fabric to the correct workroom). We also have our own collection of Curated Fabrics available for all of our Custom Window Treatments. If you find a ready-made item that you would like as a custom item, please inquire.
        b. Or Find your favorite fabric anywhere (in a local store or online) and have it shipped to our COM workroom. Contact us for the shipment address of your own material.
3. We do all the work and we provide any additional necessary materials (such as framing material, blackout lining, grommets or even decorative trim, beads, gimp and accessories.)
        a. Each custom C.O.M. panel comes standard with lining in either white or ivory (factory matched to fabric patterns) or upgrade to Interlining, Blackout Lining or Self-Lining.

Custom Window Treatment Information:

Production Time: 7-10 business days from receipt of your fabric
Delivery Time via UPS: 3-5 Standard Days, unless expedited request. Pleated draperies will arrive fan-folded, banded, covered in heavy duty bags and boxed for shipping. For installation, draperies will need to be professionally dressed and steamed to look their best. A professional drapery installer may be found in the yellow pages or on the internet.

Note: It is normal for custom draperies to be banded by the installer to create even folds in the fabric. These bands may remain on the drapery for up to 3 days. This banding process will train the pleats to fold properly when the drapery is opened or closed. On a 20" width panel there will be 5 pleats. If ordering loose rings for pleated draperies, add one extra ring to account for the lead pleat

Customization Options:
Privacy or Blackout Liners may be upgraded to increase your privacy while reducing or eliminating light.

Tie Backs can be added to give your drapery the pulled back, off the window look. Tie-backs are 4” tall and long enough to pull back the treatment half the width of the drapery panel. They are flat, fabric wrapped buckram.

Measuring Suggestions:

Outside Mount - Outside mounted treatments will be made to the exact dimensions provided.

Width: Measure the exact width of the window, including any frame. Add a minimum of 4” to each side (8” total overlap) to ensure light control and privacy.

Height: Measure the height of the window from the top edge of the molding to the bottom edge of the molding, sill or floor. Add a minimum of 4” to allow for an adequate mounting area above the window.

Note on Returns - The standard return size for draperies is 3-1/2” for pleated styles and 4” for Side Panels.

Inside Mount - Provide the exact sizes of the opening. The workroom will make all necessary deductions for a perfect fit.

Width: Measure inside the window casing at the top, middle and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement. No deduction will be taken on width.

Height: Measure inside the window casing at the left, center and right. Record the shortest measurement. B&W’s workroom will take a 3/4” deduction on the height
