Ripplefold Custom Draperies are a contemporary drapery that operate on a special traverse track. Aptly named for the soft, even ripples that flow smoothly from one end of the drapery to the other. Drapery panels attach via a snap-tape to the track, creating smooth, evenly spaced curves in the fabric. Customer's love the ripplefold style as this drapery looks just as good from the outside as it does from the inside and it stacks tighter on the end of the rod providing maximum viewing areas for your windows. Each custom curtain panel comes standard with a light filtering lining in either white, tan or ivory (factory matched to fabric patterns) or upgrade to our Interlining, Dual Lining or Blackout Lining. For a complete window ensemble all custom fabrics may be crafted into designer roman shades as well as a selection from 30+ popular styles of top treatments.  Best of all these gorgeous curtains are sewn in the USA.

These panels are created using your choice of [80% - 100% - 120%] fullness to ensure your drapery has the optimum custom look for your application.
Most fabrics look best at 100%, lightweight fabrics like sheers look best at 120%.
Choose either a large single "patio" panel or split draw panels.
While ripplefold drapes have many benefits, please be aware that there will be a light gap at the top of the drape where the snap connects to the rod - making it very difficult to acheive blackout lighting with the drapes as a stand alone window treatment.

Customization Options

• Privacy or Blackout Liners may be upgraded to increase your privacy while reducing or eliminating light.
• Tie Backs can be added to give your drapery the pulled back, off the window look.
        -Tie-backs are 4” tall, flat, fabric wrapped buckramand that are long enough to pull back the treatment half the width of the drapery panel.
• Decoarative Trim, Gimp, Tassels and Edge Banding may be added to your drapes
• Your choice of fullness may be selected - standard 100% fullness will be used for most drapes unless otherwise instructed

Measuring Suggestions:

Outside Mount - Outside mounted treatments will be made to the exact dimensions provided.
Width: Measure the exact width of the window, including any frame. Add a minimum of 4” to each side (8” total overlap) to ensure light control and privacy.
Height: Measure the height of the window from the top edge of the molding to the bottom edge of the molding, sill or floor. Add a minimum of 4” to allow for an adequate mounting area above the window.

Inside Mount - Provide the exact sizes of the opening. The workroom will make all necessary deductions for a perfect fit.
Measure inside the window casing at the top, middle and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement. No deduction will be taken on width.
Measure inside the window casing at the left, center and right. Record the shortest measurement. B&W’s workroom will take a 3/4” deduction on the height
Note on Returns - The standard return size for draperies is 3-1/2” for most style and 4” for Side Panels.

Care and Maintenance
It is recommended Decorative Traverse Rods, Draperies & Side Panels be vacuumed periodically with a brush or drapery hose attachment. Professional cleaning is recommended for all Custom Drapery Panels. A professional drapery cleaner may be found in the yellow pages or on the internet.
